Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and the property care, snow removal, and landscaping services provided by Jayz Landscaping & Snow Removal (“Jayz”, “we”, “us”). By booking a service or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not book services or use the website.

Snow removal service policy

Snow removal services are triggered when accumulated snowfall reaches 2 inches (approximately 5 centimetres) at the customer’s service location. Service is scheduled according to snowfall conditions, crew availability, and established service routes — not a guaranteed clock time. Monthly payments are due on the first of each month. Each package includes a maximum number of monthly visits; visits beyond that maximum require your approval and are billed at a disclosed additional-visit rate. Scheduling depends on weather and route availability. Cancellation and refund conditions are set out in section 4 below and are visible before you pay.

1. Services

Jayz provides residential and commercial landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, seasonal cleanup, and junk/yard debris removal in Calgary and surrounding areas, including Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, and Okotoks. Service availability, scheduling, and pricing depend on your property, location, and selected plan. Quoted prices are estimates based on the information you provide; final pricing may be adjusted for property size, access conditions, or scope changes confirmed on site.

2. Bookings & Scheduling

When you book online, your request is dispatched to our operations team, who will follow up to confirm your crew window. Booking requests are not confirmed appointments until accepted by Jayz. Snow removal is performed based on trigger depths and active weather conditions; we cannot guarantee an exact visit time during active storms. Monthly plans include a set number of visits per month as described in your plan; additional visits are billed at the stated additional-visit rate.

Neighbourhood Rate and group booking discounts are applied automatically based on route density and qualifying nearby bookings, and are subject to continued eligibility.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Per-visit and seasonal pricing shown on this site is a starting estimate and may vary with property conditions. You may choose to pay online at booking or pay after service. For “pay after service” bookings, payment is due upon completion unless other terms are agreed in writing. Larger properties, commercial lots, and industrial sites may require a custom quote. Unpaid invoices may be subject to late fees and collection costs permitted by law.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Per-visit bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled with no charge if notice is given at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit. Same-day cancellations may be charged a dispatch fee. Monthly and seasonal plans may be cancelled with 14 days’ notice; prepaid amounts for unrendered future services will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, less any visits already performed and applicable administrative costs. Work already completed is non-refundable except where required by law or where Jayz failed to perform the agreed service.

5. Property Access & Conditions

You are responsible for providing safe, reasonable access to the property, including unlocking gates and disclosing hazards such as pets, buried utilities, septic systems, or unstable surfaces. Jayz is not liable for damage to improperly marked irrigation heads, invisible pet fences, or items left in service areas. We will take reasonable care and carry WCB clearance and commercial liability coverage; claims must be reported within 48 hours of the service visit.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jayz’s total liability for any claim arising from services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for delays caused by weather, acts of nature, emergencies, or events beyond our control.

7. SMS & A2P Messaging

By booking a service and providing your phone number, you agree to receive service-related text messages via our A2P messaging provider, including arrival notices, completion confirmations, and storm-alert updates. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Standard messaging rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page with a new revision date. Your continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
